Lalor Park to Bungarribee Road
The clinic is about 3 km by road from the middle of Lalor Park, and one direct route uses local streets the whole way. Parking is available. For rail, Lalor Park is served by Seven Hills station, where T1 Western Line and T5 Cumberland Line trains run and Blacktown is the next station to the west. Two Blacktown buses pass through. Route 705, Blacktown to Parramatta via Pendle Hill, stops at Lalor Park Public School on Northcott Road. Route 711, via Constitution Hill, stops at Lalor Park Library on Freeman Street. Blacktown Station is about a kilometre on foot from the clinic.
Lalor Park homes and visit times
Lalor Park had 7,834 residents at the 2021 Census and a median age of 37. Of its families, 43.8% were couple families with children, and 14.0% of residents were aged 65 or over. For a household that mixes school-age children and older relatives, the clinic offers weekday mornings from 8am to 12pm, weekday afternoons from 3pm to 7pm and Saturday mornings. Disabled ramp access and parking are both available. Your first visit takes about an hour, and the report of findings that follows takes about 30 minutes.
Freeman Street and Cavanagh Reserve
Much of Lalor Park’s community life sits along Freeman Street, where the council-run library, a volunteer community garden and a skate park are grouped together. The outdoor shops at the junction of Northcott Road and Freeman Street carry murals by local artists. Lalor Park Kookaburras Rugby League Club, established in 1959, plays at Cavanagh Reserve on Venn Avenue. That year also marks the start of the housing schemes that created the suburb from Seven Hills land. If you are already at the library, route 711 to Blacktown stops there.
