Family chiropractic in Blacktown

Families are busy, and different people in the same household often need very different things. As a local Blacktown clinic, we see adults at many stages of life, with each person assessed and cared for individually.

What family chiropractic means at our clinic

When we talk about family chiropractic, we mean being a familiar, local clinic that different members of your household can come to for musculoskeletal care. It does not mean everyone receives the same treatment, or that everyone needs care.

Every patient is assessed individually and treatment is only recommended when it is appropriate for that person.

Adapting care to the person

Care for an active 30-year-old looks different from care for someone in their 80s. Our chiropractors adjust technique choice, force and positioning to suit age, health, bone density and preferences. Lower-force options such as drop table, instrument-assisted adjustments and mobilisation are available. The clinic has long welcomed older patients.

Choose from an experienced team of chiropractors

Talking about pain with someone new can feel personal, so you choose who treats you. Our team includes male and female chiropractors with different clinical interests, from sport and recovery to teaching chiropractic technique.

One clinic, separate conversations

Even when family members visit together, each person has their own consultation, history and plan. Information about one person is kept confidential and is not shared with others in the household without permission, in line with our privacy policy. Partners or carers are welcome to sit in if the patient would like them there.

Separate plans for each person

It also means one family member's plan is never assumed to suit another. Two people with back pain may need quite different care, and some may not need ongoing visits at all.

Making appointments easier for busy households

We are open Monday to Friday from 8am to 12pm and 3pm to 7pm, and Saturday from 8am to 12pm. Parking is available and there is disabled ramp access for older family members or anyone using mobility aids. You can book each person online, or call reception to arrange visits close together.

A first visit takes about an hour, the second about 30 minutes and regular visits about 15 minutes, which helps when you are planning around school and work. You do not need a GP referral.
