About sciatica care at our clinic

Sciatica describes pain that travels from the lower back or buttock down the leg, often with tingling or numbness. It can be intense and frightening, but many cases improve over time with the right guidance.

  • Leg-dominant pain. Sciatica usually hurts more in the leg than in the back.
  • Nerve testing. Reflexes, sensation and strength are checked at your first visit.
  • Referral when needed. Some cases need imaging or a medical opinion — we will tell you.

Questions

Sciatica: common questions

Yes — our clinic is at 118 Bungarribee Rd, Blacktown NSW 2148. It is our only location.

We cannot promise a fix. Many people improve with time and conservative care, and chiropractic can be part of that. If your symptoms are severe or not improving, we will discuss referral for imaging or a specialist opinion.

It varies widely. Many episodes improve over several weeks to a few months. Your chiropractor will monitor nerve signs and change the plan if progress stalls.

Not necessarily. Aggressive stretching can irritate a sensitive nerve. Your chiropractor will suggest movements based on what eases your symptoms.
