How the Hills relate to our clinic
Suburbs such as Castle Hill, Baulkham Hills, Bella Vista and Kellyville are mainly in The Hills Shire, while Winston Hills is in the City of Parramatta. Many residents travel through Blacktown regularly, and for them our clinic can be an easy addition to the week.
There are other clinics in the Hills, and we encourage you to choose the option that best suits you.
Common reasons Hills residents visit
The concerns we see are broad, but people from this direction often mention:
- Neck and upper back discomfort from long days at a desk, including around the Norwest business area
- Tension-type headaches linked to neck and shoulder tightness
- Lower back pain and stiffness
- Sport and gym strains in active families
- Musculoskeletal discomfort during pregnancy
Fitting appointments around a commute
Weekday sessions run from 8am to 12pm and from 3pm to 7pm, and we are open Saturday from 8am to 12pm. Many Hills residents book an early or evening slot so they can travel outside peak times. Regular visits are about 15 minutes once your initial assessment is complete.
Main routes between the Hills and Blacktown include Old Windsor Road and the surrounding road network; check the directions link for live traffic before you leave.
What your first visit involves
Your initial consultation takes about an hour and includes a detailed history and examination. On your second visit, your chiropractor explains their findings in a Report of Findings, with a take-home document. Assessment does not guarantee that any particular treatment will be recommended; care is only suggested when it suits you.
Choosing between a local clinic and Blacktown
If you live in the Hills, there may well be a chiropractor closer to home. It is worth thinking about what matters most to you: travel time, appointment times that fit your week, the techniques on offer, or continuity with a practitioner you already know. Some people prefer a clinic near work rather than home, so they can visit before or after the working day.
Whatever you decide, look for a clinic that takes a thorough history, explains its findings clearly, is open about risks and alternatives, and refers you on when something needs medical attention. Those are the standards we aim to meet at our Blacktown clinic.
