Rouse Hill buses and Windsor Road
The clinic is about 13 km by road from the middle of Rouse Hill. One direct route follows Windsor Road and Old Windsor Road. Rouse Hill station, on Tempus Street, serves the Metro North West & Bankstown Line, but Sydney Metro does not stop at Blacktown. For public transport, two bus routes do the job instead. Route 752 runs between Rouse Hill Station and Blacktown via Quakers Hill, and route 731 runs between Rouse Hill Station and Blacktown via Stanhope Gardens. From Blacktown Station, the clinic is about a kilometre on foot.
Apartments, houses and appointment times
Rouse Hill had 3,674 occupied private dwellings at the 2021 Census. Separate houses made up 54.4% of them, and flats or apartments made up 25.4%. On Census day 2021, 34.5% of employed residents travelled to work by car as driver, though the Census was held during COVID-19 lockdowns. Whether you come by car or bus, weekday sessions run until 7pm and Saturday sessions run from 8am to 12pm. Parking is available, and the clinic has disabled ramp access.
Rouse Hill House and the town centre
Rouse Hill is named after Richard Rouse, a free settler who was granted 450 acres in the area in 1816. Governor Macquarie renamed the locality from Vinegar Hill to Rouse Hill. Rouse Hill House, which Rouse built from 1813 to 1818, is now a house museum cared for by Sydney Living Museums and is on the NSW State Heritage Register. Rouse Hill Town Centre, at White Hart Drive and Windsor Road, is linked to Rouse Hill station, which is also where both bus routes to Blacktown run from.
