About muscle pain care at our clinic

A pulled hamstring, a knot between the shoulder blades, a calf that tightens every time you run — muscle pain is often localised and linked to a specific activity. This page covers how we assess and treat soft tissue problems like these.

  • Find the driver. We look at load, technique and recovery, not just the sore spot.
  • Hands-on options. Active Release, IASTM, stretching and dry needling.
  • Back to activity. Graded exercise rebuilds tolerance so it is less likely to recur.

Questions

Muscle pain: common questions

We do not have a clinic in Bella Vista. Patients from Bella Vista visit our only clinic at 118 Bungarribee Rd, Blacktown NSW 2148.

Either is reasonable if it makes you more comfortable. Heat often suits stiffness and spasm; some people prefer cold for a fresh injury. Neither replaces gradual movement.

There is overlap. Chiropractic soft tissue work is chosen based on an assessment and combined with other care. Our clinic also has a massage therapist, Sheena, if you prefer remedial massage.

It depends on the size of the strain and the demands of your sport. Your chiropractor will use strength and movement tests to guide a safe return.
